The internet is changing, and to make sure we keep up to date with our services, PsyWeb is changing too!

Because of the vast improvement in the way the web works, we are adding new and exciting services to our website packages, and revamping the way we do things.

Web 2.0 Services for all!

There has been a recent technologial leap in the way the way the internet works.
With the online techniques such as AJAX, Air and Flex, the internet is now just as much about allowing the user and customer more control as it is about providing an online brochure and contacting service.

As well as this, users are now much more internet-savvy and willing to contribute, but they don't want to waste time waiting for huge websites to load and reload page after page of information before they find what they want.
These advancements in web technology have coined the phrase "Web 2.0", indicating that we are now entering "Version 2" of the internet, and we at PsyWeb have made allowances in our scheduling to provide our customers with up-to-date website packages making the most of these new Web 2.0 techniques.

What's on the horizon?

Simple website packages

We feel that the customer has enough to do when getting a new website online.
Having a confusing list of website packages and add-ons at the beginning stages of this will not ease this pressure. We want the customer to think about their website and what it's there for, rather than what it will and won't be able to do.
Therefore, we have decided to split our services into 2, and only 2, seperate packages - and you only pay for how much or how little of the services you use.

Your own design

We have noticed that a lot of our customers already have a design for their website. Whether it be from an in-house design team, or an existing site layout, we will now be accepting all sorts of website designs in many formats to act as a template for a site to use our services with, rather than insisting on designing the whole lot from scratch.
Whether you have an existing design in a Photoshop file or a complete website in a design you like, we can use your design and adjust the price of your site accordingly to reflect this.

CMS as standard- Updating your website at your own pace!

It is always handy to be able to update your own website. With the internet user community getting more and more used to fresh and updated content on the sites they visit, it is now a necessity to be able to provide them with your latest news, products or goings-on as much as possible.
We are also aware that getting a professional web designer to do this time after time is expensive and time-consuming. Why not put the content control in the person that really knows your business....YOU?
We are therefore providing all our customers with a CMS (or Content Management System) for the website package they choose AS STANDARD WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE!
Whether you need to update content daily or yearly, you will be able to easily do it yourself from a computer anywhere using our hosted CMS software.
We can even apply this service to an exisitng site with very little hassle, no matter how old or new the site may be.

Modules to use as you need them

Some websites are more suited to modules such as Forums and Blogs, whereas others benefit much more from being able to collect details and bookings.
You may want to sell products online and keep track of visits and who exactly is using your site.

With our modules you can add or take away any of these services as you see fit, and of course, maintain them and view the results for yourself.
